The outcome of most alarm signals is a false alarm.  In fact, 99.5% of these so-called emergency situations result in a false alarm.  Unfortunately, the City of Palm Springs and it’s police department carry the burden of responding to and paying for unnecessary alarm signals.

Each and every false alarm is preventable.  Most alarm installation and monitoring companies do not take time to educate the alarm user on preventing false alarms.
